Once again

My last post looks like it was in early August, 2010. That's quite a long time ago. So what I decided to do was take up blogging again, even if just for a short, infrequent while. I got requests; what was I gonna say, no?

But looking back through my thirteen other posts... wow, memories. That alone is the main reason I'm doing this, now that I think about it. I loved the feeling of looking back and remembering how I felt and what I wrote and for what purpose. It's just... good, really. Also, I was kinda funny. Sometimes.

Anyways, so it's like a second introduction because we know the first one was so awkward. Welcome back to my life, blogger.

Katamari... Katamari Forever!

So I log in here in this awesome mindset. I'm all like, "Yo, let's go make what can only be called 'The very best blog post'."
I start writing, and I'm like, wait, I don't wanna do this anymore.

Well, while writing that mess up there, I was listening to this song. Am I in love with it? Everlasting love? Yes. Yes I am
Alright.
Imagine this; it's like the best idea ever.
What if, instead of things having, like, wing arms, they had wing legs?
That way, they would be the ULTIMATE predators.
Just saying.

Anyways, so I've been playing Starcraft II a lot recently... it's really making me angry. The story mode is like, just easy enough and super fun and all that jazz, but then I go onto online or even just a skirmish against A.I. and I get torn apart! It's upsetting... I mean, I obviously won't play on the easiest setting, but... I'm losing sleep over this! I literally stayed up in bed just thinking of Starcraft strategies.

Anyways... I just caught a cold... in like, thirty minutes. It wasn't there, and then it was. Runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes; it sucks.

So I decided I'm going to write more to that story, and that's that. Not sure where I'm going with it, but I've got a few ideas. :)

Lengthy

Well, it's been a long long time since I last wrote here. Not a lot has happened, but you know, I've found some things that I'm willing to share with... people.

First off, for five-ish days last week I was on a Marching Band trip to the Calgary Stampede.
It was pretty good.
Being there, living with people I never expected I would live with, really opened up doors to friendships and stuff. I talked with another Ben a lot, so we decided to name him "Ben3;" a suitable nickname. At the end of the trip, he took a card that we used to get into the place that we were staying, and he threw it. Really hard. And it stuck into a freakin' table. We always knew he could have the ability to kill.





I don't know if that embed will work, but if so, you should go look at it. The band is so psychedelic... and I love it. And It's all free. Booyah.

So over the course of today, I've eaten freezies and had bonding time with Max, cleaned out the shop, checked Facebook, and fallen in love with new bands, and with Ronald Jenkees. The song I can't get enough of is this:



I think the best bits of the song are from 0:00 to 7:01.
If possible, go look at more of Ronald Jenkees' stuff. His music can only be described (by me) one way. Electro-sexy.

Anyways, I'm super excited for Maya to come down here. But I mean, it's seventeen days that they're staying... that could either be fantastic, or a little too long. There's no real middle ground there, you know?

Horrible

When there's empty pop cans all around you, but there's no full ones left

When people criticize you for walking slow
When your Popsicle breaks in half... the wrong way
When there's nowhere to throw your garbage
When you take a shower, then find out you have to mow lawns for five hours
When someone you really, REALLY dislike wants to come over to your house
When your Summer is so busy, you have almost no time to yourself

And when your favorite manga won't update!

It's just been one of those days...

Oh my goodness E3. Nintendo is absolutely dominating. What with the new Wii exclusives and all the crazy announcements for the 3DS, they are just blowing my mind. Head to www.ign.com to get all the facts. If you care.

Anyways, so there's this girl who's family is good friends with my family and she's been so obviously flirting with me... she knows I have a girlfriend, and she knows I have a long distance relationship going on, and I think she's gonna try and take advantage of that.
To be fair, I have kind of been "egging her on" per se, but it's really quite funny, to say the least.

Cannon

I have a question. Why does the media portray sports and athletics as the standpoint of being (un)successful? I mean, intelligence will, in fact, 95% of the time get you farther than athletics ever will. I understand that there are exceptions, but seriously. Get with it, guys.

So Chris has a new car, because his old one exploded. (No, it didn't literally explode) Anyways, he wants a name for it. The last one was Lightning, and it suited it perfectly. I'm thinking Jana, but that's just one name. I kinda like the cheesiness of "Hero"... Hmm... I'm gonna have to keep thinking of these... Hah, "Lolita." We could shorten it to "Loli" or "Lita" and I think that would be funny.

So I've been following Dragonball Kai. Yeah, I know I'm an otaku, but I don't care. It's a life I live, and I love it. Anyways, Dragonball is awesome. What with the fighting, and the sort of plot... It's kinda like retro goodness.

Reunion

Hey! Maya's home! Alright! Only thirty-some more days, now. I think I'll live.

Well, there goes my train of thought, as always.
So this manga, Gantz, is really freaking crazy. There's this guy, and he's all like "Black ball room, I remember!" And then this other guy's all like "Cannot tell him it's real, or my head will explode." And then he's all like, "I will kill everyone ever to get back into Gantz's room! Muahaha! Your girlfriend? DEAD! That psychic dude and his apprentice? DEAD! Every single pedestrian? DEAD!" It's really quite upsetting. All I can think is "Why?"

Anyways, yeah, so my thoughts are gone.

I need to do something...
